KRISTA

Owner/Lead Groomer

I'm Krista, the lead groomer of Raleigh Grooming Co. and I've been grooming since 2012! I have two sweet dogs of my own, a Boston terrier named Dozer and a Pit mix named Darla.

You can find me hiking, traveling to all sorts of places, laying in the sun like a lizard, and giving smooches to all of your dogs!!

I discovered my passion for grooming while I was in college. I graduated with my degree in social work but I had already fallen in love with my grooming life and after graduation I could not turn away from it. This prompted me to pursue a career in it, which led me down the road to eventually becoming an entrepreneur.

I began my career at PetSmart, and over the next few years, I tried a few private salons and vet offices. None of them felt quite right until I started grooming on my own. At first, I began with Grooms by Krista, a solo business venture that flourished. I rediscovered my love for grooming when I was able to make my own decisions.

I was able to take a more personal approach with each dog and family, without worrying about  meeting goals set by a company. This gave me the time to get to know my clients better and provide a more wholesome service. I have grown to love pet grooming in a new way, my way, which has motivated me to open my own formal salon, following the guidelines that have worked so well for my solo adventure!

STACEY

ASSISTANT SALON MANAGER & GROOMER

Stacey is the glue that holds our team together!  She spends so much time loving on all of the pups and making sure they all have a comfortable experience. She is always there to welcome you with a warm smile and her bubbly personality, which the dogs absolutely love. Stacey is all things poodle!! She would love to groom your poodle, large or small, mixed or pure, she is just obsessed ! 

In her spare time, Stacey enjoys expressing herself through painting, especially when she gets to create beautiful dog portaits! (Ask her about it!)

She also loves spending time with her three dogs, Jenga, a mini poodle, Bowser, a poodle mix, and Toffee, a mini poodle! Stacey also hopes to reincarnate into a poodle if she's lucky.

TIFFANIE

GROOMER

Tiffanie's soft and gentle personality help to make her a wonderful groomer. She has an unmatched amount of patience and has been proven to handle the toughest pups. She really enjoys grooming cavapoos and shihtzus !

In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband and their Dachshund- Jellybean, and their kitty- Lelouch!

Tiffanie spends her weekends hiking and playing video games. She is also a huge anime fan and can talk nerdy with you!

KAYLEIGH

GROOMER

Kayleigh is here and so ready to get grooming on you furry pals! Kayleigh has been in the industry since 2016 and grooming since 2018, and her love for it hasn’t stopped growing! She enjoys doing contour trims and lamb cuts. Her favorite breeds to work with are Shih Tzus, Poodles, and Boxers; although, she may be biased because of her two goofy Boxers at home, Duncan and Dito. 

Outside of the shop she is very family focused, you can usually catch her spending time with her husband, pups, and wrangling her toddler! She loves baking and working on building her homestead. 

She’s always ready to put on her mom hat an help your nervous pup work towards confidence!

MARY

RECEPTIONIST

Mary is the friendly face of Raleigh Grooming Co. She loves welcoming every pup, getting to know each dog’s unique personality, and making them feel comfortable, safe, and at home. She’s always happy to chat with you and will probably keep the conversation going for as long as you’ll let her! She genuinely loves being surrounded by dogs and caring for them every day, and she feels lucky to make that a part of her work.

Outside the salon, Mary spends her free time with Ollie, her Sheepadoodle, and Frank, her Pit Mix. She loves taking them on adventures, especially trips to the mountains. Mary also loves getting out around Raleigh, trying new restaurants and foods, and discovering new places.

HANNAH

GROOMER

Hannah is one of the most vivacious groomers we have met yet! She is a Fear-Free Dog and Cat Stylist with a plethora of knowledge stemming from her upbringing on her working family farm, graduating with her Pre-Vet degree from the University of Maine, and working as a licensed veterinary technician before moving to North Carolina.

Hannah specializes in breeds-standard cuts, Doodles, skin and coat care, and large breed dogs! Hannah is committed to staying at the forefront of the industry through continuing education seminars, conferences, and advanced certifications while working towards her Master Groomer certification through the NDGAA. Outside of the salon you can find Hannah enjoying the company of her Standard Poodle, Dizzy.

EMMA

BATHING ASSISTANT

Our sweet Emma!! So new to the industry, but absolutely in love already! She is our bathing assistant, which means she is likely washing and drying your pup right when they get here! She has the sweetest personality and your dogs think so too! She is sure to make every bath time relaxing and fun. She has big dreams for her future in grooming and we do too!

Outside of work Emma is likely doing something musical! She has a voice like she should have won American Idol by now, and can play every instrument under the sun. She also loves spending time with her shihtzu Mochi, and he enjoys getting a front row seat to her musical performances, he says it's his favorite way to be put to sleep!
